which is why 80's for law is a bad uai, it's not terrible, but it's fairly bad because it gets you into very few courses.
ok, i agree with my misuse of the 'full stop' statement. However, my observation was more based on objective generalised indications (rather than taking into account people who go through problems during the hsc year - although, they do receive 5 extra points).Generator said:Are you that insecure, stazi? Why? Is there some sort of hidden message behind all of that "omg modergayor cum to me you sexy man for bumsex" talk? If so, I do hope that you sort yourself out someday.
For the record, a bad UAI is one that doesn't get you into your preferred course.
Natstar, you know that's not the situation tho. I would conceed your point if we did have tonnes of students recieving up near 100% in every test, but that just does not happen, so your entire point is moot.natstar said:Its a rank. Hypothetically, do you think that if everyone in the state got marks in the 90's, their UAI would be over 90?

and when did I, or anyone, dispute that point? We are arguing whether an 80 uai is bad or good.natstar said:Which brings me back to my initial point- Some people's concept of "trying" is different to others.
Yea but it's my point that it's pointless to bring up such a far-fetched hypothetical situation when stazi is talking about the real situation.Read the sentence again. Note the word "hypothetically" .
I'm already doing law at uws.And if it doesn't work out, if you really want to study law there's always post-grad as an option
the fact that it's a low uai that hardly gets you into any decent courses.natstar said:You said some people try and others don't. Though you can't say that someone didnt try just becuase they got a UAI of 80.
In the answer to your question, yes I would say that UAI is good.
What is not good about it?
Oh i didn't realise. For some reason I thought you do Media & COmmunications.Not-That-Bright said:I'm already doing law at uws.
Oh a friend of mine graduated with that degree from UWSNot-That-Bright said:I do communications / law at uws.
I want to transfer to UTS because I have friends in the course there, and because I believe both uts's law course and especially their communications course is superior.
