when transferring from comp eng to comp sci is it possible to have subjects that were done in comp eng that could count as electives in comp sci not count in order to have a better academic record?

changing degrees will mean a clean slate, new WAM
but changing from comp eng to comp sci? is that a 'degree' change or a 'major' change?

oh yeh it is, just checked
BEng to BSci
so you will end up with a new WAM

note that your old WAM will still be on the transcript

MOst likely the courses will count towards your new degree. If you wish not to do so then you might need to talk to the academic advisor.. Although school office may be a good start, they might not be helpful.
