I do not know what these rules are or how to use them. I tried to find a formula online but it's different depending on how many numbers you have and I don't know what to do with it. For the question I'm doing, there are five 3m intervals and I'm trying to find the area. Thanks to anyone who can help

The question should say whether you need to use the trapezoidal rule or the simpson's rule... What is the exact question?
