Yes you buy Travelpasses from the CityRail ticket machines or stations.

Yes, the ticket machines sell Travelpasses. So do the people behind the window that sell normal tickets at each station.

Yes,
I prefer to buy the State Transit version of the travelpass, as it validates on first use (so you can buy in advance)

Also, where possible, buy travelpasses after 3PM, as you get it for a full week after that day.

it's the same thing as buying the travel tens

at start of every session i usually buy 14 green weeklies in one go

yeh it's painful but i actually talked the newsagent into giving me 5% discount
i know it's little but better than nothing!
