i think it depends on your school but mine are from 8 - 21 august.
so... around that time i guess.
has anyone else already received information about the dates of their half yearlies and trials??

My half yearlies are in the last 2 weeks of this term. Starts 26th March-5th April.

I wouldn't be to worried about the trials just yet. Your first major exam period is your half yearlies. That's what you worry about first, bu that is awhile away.

Yeah, im not worried bout trials yet, just trying to plan an event and hope it doesnt clash with our exam blocks.

Yeah, getting less than 50% just doesn't feel as bad when you're in an inertial frame of reference.

you must be referring to your frame of reference because the idea of failing is not simultaneous with the idea in your frame of reference.

Ours are during Term 3. But I'm more worried about the upcoming half yearlies.

My school has changed the whole assesment schedule this year. Now we dont have half yearlies or trials, we have a 'course exam' at the end of term 2.

Apparently, its so that they have more time to teach us the actual content of the course. But I think its stupid, because then we spend less time on revision and get less practice doing an HSC style exam.

Is anyone elses school doing this?

Half Yearlies = Week 9/10 Term 1
Trials = Week 4/5 Term 3

Except I have 3 more assessment tasks AFTER the Trials...
