Solve correct to two decimal places, the equation sin^2theta = theta/pi for theta [0,pi]

You mean (0,pi] right?

Maple tells me there is two solutions on that interval and I think Newton's method with f(x) = sin^2(theta) - theta/pi should converge (slowly) to either of those numbers .... starting at 2pi/19 will get one of them, correct to two decimal places, quickly though.
