Tutorials, did you get the times you wanted? (1 Viewer)

Hey, I'm just about to register for my last tutorial, I am pretty pissed off about the whole thing really cuz one of my subjects, the professor decided to change the tutorial times like 3 days ago so that all the tutorials were on a monday, with 2 on a tuesday during one of my lectures! So anyway I have basically nothing else on a monday and am supposed to work, but because the tutorials have changed I will have to go for an hour in the morning, damn my boss is gunna be shitty!!

i certainly did not, i lagged for 10mins and 2 preffered tutes were filled so i had to get the next avail times

I know, they changed the times on me too, which I had planned around, but it really only affects one week so hopefully I can sort something out. I got most of the tutorials I wanted, there is only one that was full before my selection was processed, which has now resulted in a 2 hour break...though I'm sure I'll be able to fill it will study or something, so it's not too bad!

I missed out on one of them. It was a tute for Introductory Economics. I wanted it for 3-4pm on Tuesday, but my selection wasn't processed on time so i selected the 4-5pm one on Tuesday.

in some case yes, some tutors are very strict and dont let.

So far Ive got ALL my times . Ive still got statistics for business to go but I should get all the times. For me, on broadband, refresh times are like 3 minutes, so all Ive done for each one is press refresh when my clocks on 2 minutes to the opening time, it gets in just as it opens. Everytime Ive got in with all tutes still available and not 1 spot taken

Some people are abit slow to, for Accounting reports and decisions the majority of tutes had heaps of places still available going onto the next day, and I expected them all to get filled in a matter of minutes....

i was on 100 Mbps connection and still it was lagging and missed my preffered spots

if anyone has a slow connection, i recommend they go somewhere else to register if they really want their times badly, my friend comes over to my house and we register one after the other and till make it cause of a fast connection.

I got all my tutorial times ... even though for urban geography I was 5 days late but its all good now

You should really ring them up. You still shouldn't be unconfirmed. Its too far into tut rego and too close til uni begins to be unconfirmed.

I just finsihed my last tute rego. Had a lucky one, I was refreshing at the opening time and it said Id been timed out, so I had to sign in again, this took me AGES, I got to the tute rego area 25 minutres late and nearly missed out on the times I wanted. Very lucky.

my brother wanted to know what does it mean by not enabled? because some of his subjects the lecture says not enabled and for statistics none of them got enabled

Not enabled means that you don't have to register for them.

Mm, got the times that I wanted. You learn to do them in a certain order so you go for the ones with limited 'good' tut times, and the other ones later.

I got all of mine, I don't know how. One of them the site didn't let me on until 15mins after the opening time...
