I hear everyone going to tutoring these days... Even i go it... but im wondering if learning in advance is actually benefitial? Some ppl in yr 10 are learning stuff i see in the yr 12 2 unit maths syllabus... wont u forget by then?

Ur opinion?

It's not a question of forgetting. I guess if you have learnt something before and you're learning it again, you feel grounded and experienced at it.

true... but im not sure if u've experienced dis but i have... ! Like when ur in ur classroom and ur learning something and ur like hey i learnt dat at tutoring but den... ur like holy shit.... i can't remember it cause i've learnt it like last yr! but it comes back to u half way during the lesson and during that half of the lesson u've been working at the same pace as the rest of ur classmates and still getting questions wrong despite ur tutoring... but i get where ur coming at

Hmm... For me it's the opposite. After tutoring I find the topics are really easy. Besides, I learn everything at tutoring and always have.

I went tutoring, both in groups and 1 on 1...

Wasn't useful to me, quit, and... studied on my own.
Is actually understanding more things studying on my own than getting a tutor...
That's just me, like Kujah said, everyone's different... tutors just never worked for me...

I prefer going to tutoring whilst being in a group of people. An opportunity to meet new people - although, I suppose that's not the reason I'm going to tutoring in the first place.

For me, tutoring is very beneficial, especially when you don't get questions and you can develop new methods and skills to solve or complete the question. But others have replied it's not much of a benefit. People are different . And tutoring can be a bit expensive as well so you should look through the costs.
