I was thinking of taking up tutoring next yr, I did maths adv (and ext 1) and eng adv. Do you guys think it's suitable to be open to tutoring standard (maths and/or eng) as well?

(I've never learnt the content for them so that's why I'm unsure, so should I also go through some textbook or resources on it)

There would be some concepts you can't teach unless you've learned them. Those would be the topics that aren't common content. You would have to review the syllabus to know which ones they are.

I reckon for maths you could although youd have to make sure to master networks and do a lot of HSC questions on them but for English Id say stick to Advanced since Standard really diff

either way its only networks youd really have to spend time so you can always defo do that you should be MORE than capable but yeah English is a pain for standard people so I reckon youd just tutor advanced english
