hi guys.

so notch lapel or a peaked one?

peaked one is more traditional,
where as notch seems to be trendy.

tuxedo and suit are 2 different things.....
why would u want a tux? u will look like a try-hard wank
ur much better off buying a quality wool suit and having it tailored to your proportions.

okay.

so basically, a tuxedo is generally a suit yeah?
but it's got a longer tail coat,
it's got satin lined lapels,
a pocket for a pocket square, and for the pants satin things down the sides.
also has a cummbund or a waist coat (which i don't want)

i don't want a longer tail coat, and i dont want the satin things down the sides.

generally a peaked lapel is traditional.
some people say notched lapels are o.k., and others say its an abomination.

well, yeh kinda.
a tuxedo is far more formal and is only for black tie events u know, like for debs n shit u wear a tux. they arent widely used anymore, and if u dont want satin or tails, then why wouldnt u just buy a normal suit? what is it for? deb? u goin to a wedding? school formal?

well
the way i see it.
depending on the family who is having the wedding, the only one at the wedding who is wearing a tux is generally the groom..... its very very formal....
and at formals, a normal suit is the way to go. just buy a suit, tuxedos are for james bond

i might just wear suits instead of jeans, etc. in a few years.
or at least 'smart casual'

Ermenegildo Zegna. Ohhhhh yeah. Not particularly cheap though haha. I delight in mine.

If you already have a good black suit and a good grey/charcoal, then fuck it. Buy whatever the hell you want.
