I don't think it is that unrepresentative... maybe it does not accurately portray the population as a whole but since when did ethnics and anglos mix completely evenly.

A few token ethnics would probably make the shows more accurate but I don't think it is really necessary.

Muslim characters don't exactly make good fodder for tv soapies. Perhaps a muslim family could move into ramsay street and when the daughter 'dishonours' the family by making out with some guy behind lassiters her father and brothers can slit her throat.

Neighbours or the stupid liberals crying about diversity on television.

It's their show, If they want to turn into crackerville then that's their choice.

Usually the biggest racists are the ones who cry about stupid crap like this.
