there is N and P type doping, Negative and Positive.

Negative consists of adding an extra election, positive consists of adding an extra 'hole'... i belive, i dont have my notes handy so dont quote me. :)

um.. are u thinking of Type 1 and Type II superconductors?
Type 1 are pure metal/alloy superconductors
Type 2 are ceramic superconductors.

type I low crtical temporature and magnetic field strength, superconductivity can currently be explained by BCS theory
type II relatively higher critical temperature and field stregth, cannot b explained by BCS, brittle
