Are you supposed to put year 11 or year 12 as highest level of schooling completed for current HSC students? does it matter ?

I'd say Year 12 would be the highest level of schooling completed (being in the middle of HSC exams insinuates you have finished Year 12 formally, and just have exams left) ... but on a technicality, you could argue Year 11.

I don't think they would be too fussy about it on the UAC application as they would know based on your HSC year what type of applicant you are.

Is your atar mailed home to you by UAC once released online?

Your ATAR is not mailed home to you by UAC once they are released online. You are able to access your ATAR by putting your details (Year 12 student number and UAC PIN) on the UAC website once ATAR’s are released.

You can also download and save your official ATAR Advice Notice for free until 13 March 2022. After this date, you will need to buy your Advice Notice through the UAC Shop at a cost of $60.

What you will receive by mail is your HSC testamur. The HSC testamur is delivered by post in January.
