My school rank is poor (400s?), but I think our cohort is a lot better this year..

Business Studies - 97% - 1/30ish
Legal Studies - approx. 86-88% - 1/10
Economics - 85% - 1/7-8
Advanced English - 85% - I'd say top 5/35-40
Gen Maths - Tough one this one as I only recently dropped and have to get estimates...think i could probably get high 80's to low 90's and be in the top few out of 50 odd.
S.O.R. 1 - 85% - top 5 out of 50-60.

Sorry if it will be hard to give an estimate, but it's probably the most accurate account of my marks.

It is a bit hard because of your school rank....

But if you managed to come 1st for general math then you have a real chance of ~95 depending on how you go in externals :)

Woah. I really wasn't expecting that much...:)

Yeah gen. math is the only concern, I'm really hoping to top the grade for that in order to not get dragged down by its scaling.

For someone whose goal it is to get around that 83-85 mark, that's quite surprising.

Thanks for your help.

This is of course best scenario. It all depends on whether you are 1st in pretty much all subject besides adv english at the end and whether or not you go well in your externals.

Yeh that's true.

My goal is set at 85 and I'd be thrilled with that, so anything over that area is a bonus.

Thanks for your help anna and dd24.

It's pretty much impossible to tell.
You need to know what marks your cohort are getting and their scatter. You could end up getting anywhere between 70 - 95 . all depends on how the rest of the cohort are going and external.
But.. if ur cohort is a better this year, than probably low 90's

provided you keep those ranks you should get 90 however the ranking of your school will just mean that how you go in HSC will be totally dependant on your external marks.
