Subjects i'm doing are :

Ext 1 Maths
Standard English
Information Technology
Information Process and Technology
Software Design & Dev

Basically (rough estimate) my ranks are as follows :

Ext 1 : 18/25 (Not good at Ext1 but i predict it wont count in UAI)
2 U Maths : Top 5ish / 90
Stan Eng : Top 10ish / 55 ish
IT : Top 3 / 30
IPT : Top 4 out of 30ish
Software : Top 4 out of 30ish

I was hoping really high 80's / low 90's if possible ?

You'll probably get what you want, but I think extension 1 is likely to count considering the scaling of you other subjects.

Get a UAI estimate from your school, much easier and more accurate.

Just remember standard english needs to count, aim for band 5 if you can.

Mid to high 80's seem quite possible ... 90's - I'm not too sure ... Good Luck! :)

Low 90s would be possible... you'll have to do particularly well in the exams though (compared to the rest of the state), in addition to maintaining your rankings.

As a sidenote... six units of computing?! Mein gott! You might want to double check that you have four distinct subject areas... requirement to actually receive a UAI in the first place. :)

6 units of maths?! What a geek!;)
I dunno if thats possible...in the HSC, are you allowed to do 2 unit maths, AND general maths? (assuming your school had them running during different times.) I don't see why anyone would want to, but is it allowed?

I don't think 6 units Maths is possible ... Although under the old syllabus people did do 8 unit Maths (4 unit Maths, PHY and CHEM)! :p

There's no way u can officially do more than 4U of maths
however, what u prolly heard is that this person is doing Ext.1 and Ext.2 maths, but is still doing the 2U math assessments as well, just in case he drops Ext.2, in which case, his assessments for 2u will count

I agree. 2U is assumed knowledge in the others anyway.

I really depends ... on your school:
* School
* Your own performance ... because you are ranked ONE, unless you know someone is going to beat you in the EXAM!

Random guess: 90 - 99!

hehe I don't really want to say my school but its not a private school, not terribly competitive, but I think we are marked reasonably tough and ive got quite good marks (mostly 80s & 90s). Id be happy with high 80s but very happy with low 90s
