Hey. Ok so I know these threads get annoying...but reading everyone elses i just had to know! So...my half yearly marks were....

1) English (Adv.) - 80% - Rank roughly 3/23

2) Maths (General) - 65% - Rank 4/56

3) PDHPE - 89% - Rank 1/23

4) Modern History - 70% - Rank 3/5

5) Hospitality - 91% - Rank 1/22

Any rough ideas anyone? My marks are kinda all over the place...but then ranks are fairly consistent...

I know! I'm absolutely terrible at maths yet I still manage 4th place. I thought that was cool

You're problem is you get a false sense of how good you are because everyone else sucks. You need to remember when you do the HSC your competing with everyone in the state.

same test for all...i think..
Luckily i dont do maths, because i would definately fail which again would bring my mark down...

Yeah I know. I'm not expecting much out of the HSC exam for maths. Then again maybe we just had a really hard half-yearly? My overall assessment mark for maths at the moment is much better - 79.

I did 2 unit and I failed everything all year. Ended up with 74 in the HSC.

A lot of mine would of been scaling. You won't get scaled so well doing general.
