Hi, if you would like to help please do. Here are my final marks (I manually worked them out) and final rankings:

2U Maths: 96%, ranked 10th out of 98
3U Maths: 92%, ranked 19th out of 71
2U English: 75%, ranked 55th out of 218
3U English:70%, ranked 51st out of 91
Bio: 78%, ranked 26th out of 84
Chem:73%, haven't received rank yet but I'm about 30/50
Music: 81%, haven't received rank yet

School's in the top 20 since 2002

you got nice marks but your ranks arent so well, but i imagine that if its a top 20 school its probably very tight scores, i imagine lots of top students so probably coming half way in the year must be a feat itself, i couldnt tell you though, maybe 80s? 90s? its just conflicting, see id say 70s but you got nice assessment ranks, if you keep those marks up for HSC youd probably get high 80s

I disagree. A top 20 school, good assessment marks, and decent ranks for all subjects, I'd say 95+ for sure.

i used to be person who was always stressed, but i taught myself only one thing is that DO NOT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THE SCALING SYSTEM, ONLY CARE ABOUT IS STUDYING OFF UR FUCKIN ARSE AND GETTIN THE MARKS...honestly if u only cared about utself n no body else than u wont get stressed and smash ur exams. i have my pricicple 2 come 2 me and congrate me on my rapid increase in grades and they know it hasnt reached it peak n i believe thats wat ur believe system should b. dont care about anything else than U

19 people got his mark or higher, 2 reasons may be it
a) his year is full of smart people that 25% get over 90% in extension 1 maths
b) it was a very easy exam

either way, the 19th highest HSC mark will go towards his assessment mark, im not trying to say he's an idiot, its very easy to dismiss his rank and say "95+" - you have to realise your rank is mostly important in its relatively, if he got 1st 92% and 2nd got 92, and the next 20 people got 92, then he isnt neccesarily 1st, but if he gets 1st 92 and next one down is like 50% then its evident he is gucking food at the subject

in the end, nobody can make an accurate prediction unless we see the people above him (and near his rank)'s marks and the spacing, remember ladies your assessment mark means SFA

Considering all your subjects scale well (cept for music) and your doing 12 units at a top 20 school. With Above Average ranks.

You obviously have a very poor way of estimating UAI as you think that you will get 95, not likely doing standard english, general maths, a VET course, and SDD. ALl these subjects are for dumb shits that should have left school and gone to tafe instead of continuing on to do the HSC.
