My school isnt selective but does a fairly well in the hsc every year! (but marks hard)

geog:
trial mark - 50% (avg 45%)
rank overall 5/25

standard eng
trial mark - 56% (avg 40%)
rank overall 25/130

business studies:
trial mark - 64% (avg 48%)
rank 22/56

modern history:
trial mark - 51% (avg 39%)
rank 8/19

general maths:
trail - 48% (avg 45%)
rank 49/108

what's the median uai at your school last year?

you seem to be quite a bit higher than the school median so you should be in the top quarter of your school at least.

then again doing standard english may bring down the uai a bit

im not sure of the median.... all i know was there was bout 160 ppl in the year 20 of which were in 90's and 40 in the 80's ...if that helps

I'd be more conservative than Cyph, with an estimate in the 70s, because of Standard Eng and Gen Maths (and maybe BS ).

Taking into considering your school marks hard and your subjects don't scale too well, I'd say low to mid 70's

When they mark hard what do you mean by that? Most cases its either you are right or you are wrong. How they mark hard?
