Yes, Yes another lovely UAI prediction thread :p

Well, ive attempted to work it out myself and just want your input on what UAI i can expect. :)

I need some help with the alingned marks.
I expect the Aligned marks to be higher as my school generally sets harder exams.

My School is The Kings School which i believed is ranked ~25ish not 100% sure.

Ive calcuated a UAI between 90-94.

Current School Marks are:

English Advanced
Mark 82%
Position 42/147

Economics
Mark 85%
Place 1/47

Ancient History
Mark 85%
Place 5/44

Business Studies
Mark 82%
Place 9/79

Legal Studies
Mark 84%
Place 4/42

Kings was ranked around 60th, just after knox iirc.

Its looking good so far. Probably 94+ Eco is good, especially since it scales the best out of your combo and you're ranked first.

60? hmmm i suppose thats better than the ~110 it was in 2003 :p

hmmm but anyway, you think 94? Thats what im hoping for. I need 93 to get into Commerce at usyd.

Do i need to improve my English ranking? My other rankings are pretty good,,,

Anybody else have any predictions? :)

hmm yeah, im confident i can pick english up alot. LAst year i came 19th, and this years rank so far is beacuse of one really shocking assesment.

So about how much do the marks get scaled up? is it 1 or 2 marks, or something like 5 marks or something?

Based on what?

Deus, play with juaiseek. I put your predicted marks based upon Kings' last years performance and then subtracted a bit to account for the change in uais over the years. Kings will improve a lot this year again. Must of been the introduction of Nick Green. Fix up english, and you'll have a great uai.

ahh lol, Nick green doesnt do anything.......:p (at least in the higher years)

Another question though.

Wondering how many of those subjects would likely end up aas a band 6 after scaling etc....Would say Ancient and Economics make it there?

7 band 6's for eco
6 for ancient
7 for business
1 for legal
9 for advanced

So i'd say for ancient and eco you're safely in. However you can't tell how many would stay in Band 6 *after* scaling, for I can't access that data. Considering your school is improving and by large chunks in the pecking order I think business and legal might also make it there if you continue to work hard.
