Hey!!

I heard something from my careers advisors once and other students that if you've done a diploma or something, you can request for your UAI to be recalucated?

Its this true or totally wrong lol?

It does have some truth to it.

If you've done a diploma and apply to universities as a non-recent school leaver (NRSL), they'll calculate a new selection rank for you which combines the results from your diploma with your UAI.

If you're going to uni straight from Y12, they'll generally just use your UAI.

yep, in ur case u dont need a diploma thingy as a form of additional selection becoz u'll just need ur uai
