Does anyone know how much of our internal and external assesmnts are counted towards the UAI?:confused:

uhhh ok...i thought it was 40 internal and 60 ext. thanks!

^ techinically that is right. As you moderated internal marks are determined by your (or grades mean {depending on rank}) aligned marks.

Although in the end, 50% comes from your moderated internal mark, and 50% from your algined HSC exam mark.

technically it is 50-50 but chances are overall your hsc result will have slightly more weighting. not sure how it works and all that though.

The BOS can moderate the raw internal marks submitted by the school by comparing the aligned exam marks. If the school is sending in real high raw internal marks, but that cohort does poorly, this will be reflected in their moderated internal marks, even if they did well all year. It would be assumed the school set really easy tests, or marked easy.

Therefore your HSC exam result, (and your schools) techinically has a higher weighting than the internal mark.
