i've noticed that evry year it seems harder to get the same uai (ie. u need a higher combined scaled marks total to get the same uai with each passing year)
does anyone know why this is happening?
thanks

The most logical reason is that every year is getting smarter and smarter. As a result, students will be attaining higher HSC marks. And because the UAI is a ranking index, that means you need higher marks to attain the same UAI as the previous years.

Yea, more intelligent people who are willing to put in the time and effort to study for the HSC is the most significant factor. :uhhuh:
That happens only because of socities changing attitude towards eduaction and its importance. :)
