Say I wanted to transfer from a B Arts / B Science at USyd to B Arts (languages) at USyd (which had a 2005 cut-off of 97.25). I've heard it goes on 50% UAI (mine was 99.65) and 50% WAM - so what kind of WAM (credit/D range?) average am I looking at to get a new UAI high enough to transfer?

High credit average

..why didn't you place BArts(languages) higher up on your preferences?

Because shes wondering how hard it would be to bail out of Arts/sciences if it proves too difficult (I think).

Yep, that's right. It's my second preference at the moment, the double degree is my first and I think I'll keep it that way. Thanks Minai and fleep.

Since both degrees are within the same faculty, they may have an internal transfer policy that I'm not sure about. That could be another option rather than applying through UAC again.

it's not WAM it's GPA that's used for transfers.
