i needs help with Perform an investigation to model the behaviour of semiconductors

i srsly cant remember any of these pracs...i think we went to usyd to do em, but i forgot lol, so anyone got any ?? thanks ~

we had a simple circuit with a lightbulb and a semiconductor
when you turned it on, the bulb didnt light up
we heated the semiconductor with a flame and the lightbulb lit

ahh lol so i could just do that but like say, in a dark room the light globe didnt work...

but when the curtian was opened and UVL was shined onto the metal surface of the circuit, the light globe lighted?

possibly, or say you used a UV lamp cause i dont think sunlight would have enough energy

wtf... we didn't do any pracs on semi conductors... are we required to know this?
