55 is B.

It is because in all of the sets the shapes are getting larger. The only one in which the shapes are getting larger in the options is B.

Call me sad but this being my previous worst section it is now my so strong, so I loved this question

basically 3 parts to it
3 shapes (cuts out no answers)
going on a diagonal (so not C D A)
and getting smaller (not E)

thus it is B
:)

i'm doing medentry, and their practice exams q's are much harder

i got 18/18 for section 2 on volume 1

Seems to be the trend that the ACER q's are a bit weaker than the exam

Yep it's B.

Each of the two segments has 3 shapes that are identical apart from varying in size. Options A, C, D and E have identically sized shapes; therefore do not fit the pattern. Option B has 3 crescents of differing sizes, thus is correct.

What you do is look at the segments and divide it into components, then you learn the ways these components can change, there are so many ways they can change, and literary my percentiles in this section have gone from 0-20, to 80-95, plus I'm finishing five minutes early as well, which is totally awesome. Practise is the key, get as many puzzles as you can and go over your answers continuously until you completely understand it.
