hey guys i wanted to ask for some advice, i did some papers as practise (acer booklet) and i got about 65/63/70 % in each section but in the real umat my score was bout 53/27/50 do you think i shud apply for a remark?, or do i really just suck at umat?

The RAW SCORES that you get off acer are NOT the percentage of questions you got right!

No one knows how they determine the raw scores, but it is not a percentage.

My friends UMAT mark was 198. He came in the top 1% of umatters. zomg.

Can I ask you, does that mean he/she was said to be in the "100th percentile" on overall score? I'm very interested to know how far back the 100th percentile goes...

S1: 57 (81%)
S2: 63 (96%)
S3: 56 (75%)
S1+S2+S3 = 176
Overall score: 59
Overall rank: 90

I didn't get coaching although I did see some notes from a coaching thingo.
Overall I'm stoked; I don't really want to do med that much unless i get a freak UAI or by some other chance get into Bmus/Bmed/Bsurgery at sydney. Personally I like my chances... bahahahahahahahaha pretty bloody unlikely......

U sound like a kid qat my school (but i know u arent coz he only wants to do UNCLE)
why on earth do a course like medicine if you dont want to????
i mean several things
1) You are taking up the place of some1 who wants to (who has dremed of it their whole life!
2) Its one of the most demanding courses and takes 11 year until u r fully qualified, why waste your time?
3) Passion is a key ingredient to what makes a good doctor
where is yours gonna come from?
i hope u reconsider things with an attidute liek that!

i just didnt know wat i wanted to do.. and medicine seemed lik a good idea..

Sorry this is a bit late, but i have searched through the site to see if anyone got similar results to me and havnt been able to find any, but i was wondering if anyone knew if these UMAT marks would be good enough to get an interview anywhere.. i have applied everywhere but Adelaide.
Section 1: 54 (73) this one let me down
Section 2: 60 (92)
Section 3: 62 (93)
An overall mark of 59 and overall percentile of 90.

ummm....
i dont think they would get you anywhere on the basis of just umat (except edaiide, whicg lol, u raent doin) by themselves
wat i mean is, r u a local anyhwere eg. UWS, newc. etc.
also do u have a highpredicted uai/ter
there r factors that help pull up ur umat
