Uni accom @ UOW/ANU questions (1 Viewer)

hey

I'm looking at going to either UOW: Wollongong or ANU: Canberra next year, and looking at on-campus accommodation (catered... I'm lazy) for the first year.

Currently perhaps looking at a double degree in Commerce and Computer Engineering.

Anyways...

What preferences would you put for catered on-campus accom and why for the following?...

1) UOW (been thinking Campus East for 1st, then Weerona as 2nd)
2) ANU (been thinking Bruce Hall for 1st... but didn't get a chance to see all the accom)


If anyone is doing either a Bachelor of Commerce or Computer Engineering, or both at UOW or ANU I'd also be interested to hear what you think of the course/s, faculty, lecturers etc.

Your (catered) choices at ANU are :

- Bruce
- Johns
- Ursies
- Burgmann

Ursies is quite a small college, and strangely enough noone knows anyone else. They also have horridly small rooms.

Johns is full of jocks.

Burgmann is full of snobs.

Bruce is your all-rounder.

That pretty much sums it up

I ended up going:

1) Bruce
2) Ursies
3) Burg
4) Johns

... hopefully I'll just get Bruce ... that is if I end up going to ANU, otherwise UOW is Campus East, Weerona, and the other two.
