Say i want to do finance related course e.g. commerce or economics, do i need certain subjects such as maths in secondary school to get into that course in uni? Or is it just assumed knowledge and you could still do it but may struggle with it.:confused:

Thanks in advance.

You don't need it. You'll just hopelessly fall behind in class.

Don't worry, you can just take bridging courses in Uni.

Probably advisable that you take Maths for Commerce/Econmics, but 2U should be plenty. Don't take General as that won't help you at all. Maths also helps get you bonus points. If you don't have Maths, simply pay $120 and go do a 2U/3U bridging course. It will really help.

I have no idea. But I thought nothing required 4U Maths - I could be totally mistaken though.

I think he means that if you don't do it you'll get slaughtered at uni, i don't think they're actual prerequisites. Very few degrees have prerequisites.

Doesn't Advanced Mathematics require 4U maths?
