hey guys,
i'm really not sure where to post this so i just posted it here....
when do we have to apply for unis???? i thought it wasn't till after the HSC but then why do people go for interviews befor they even do their HSc. i'm so lost!!!!! someone please guide me through this!!!!!!

I'm sure there's some comprehensive post about this somewhere, and that Without Wings will helpfully come along with a post full of links while locking this topic, but in summary: the uni application process is handled by an organisation called the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC), which is a consortium of all the NSW/ACT universities. Some people go for interviews for certain courses like medicine, and for early entry schemes and the like.

Well it depends on what you are aiming to do after year 12. You should have spoken to your school career advisers about this a long time ago.
