Okay so lets say I have a certificate 4 in Surveying, which is equivalent to 72 ATAR. I now want to do the surveying and civil engineering double degree at Newcastle, which is an ATAR of 80. However the single surveying degree is 70.55. When it says if I join this course I get 25% credit, what does that mean? does it mean it will be a 3 year course instead of 4 years? And then assuming I do these 3 or 4 years, what is the best way to get into the Surveying and Civil double degree? Would it be to transfer after one year of the single? or to finish the single degree and gain the credits for the double? I am so confused sorry.

ANY help would be appreciated greatly! Thank you :)
