its supposed to be working and ir ecevied ONE email, but i shoudlve received many more
and i tried sending email to myself AFTER it let us log in and still havent received it

I had like 90 emails in my inbox (I bloody had to make unimail my main email account didn't I)!!!

Err... I had sent an email last monday to my friend's unimal account and it is still in his email account..

If its external spam, then its your own fault

If its internal spam, you're probably on some mailing list you can take yourself off.

all these notices for like 3rd year or 2nd students... or some crap about some programming comp... and ads about revues or what not... or mentoring programs... lotsa random crap... i just clean out most of the stuff periodically without reading the titles anymore...

anyways, i dont seem to get any external spam, but maybe will soon once the companies that know my cse mail starts sending stuff..

Sounds like you're on a couple of mailing lists - just unsubscribe yourself from those lists

if you got stuff about richard stallman, or difference between geeks and nerds, then you're subscribed to stu-forum. Once upon a midnight dreary, I checked my CSE mail to uncover 100 new emails, and I thought I was being spammed. But it was 100 posts from the cse stu-forum.

I dont know about other stuff you might have been subscribed to, check soc-announce mailing list?

How can you not use CSE mail??? It sends you lots of useful/important stuff ...

I get both CSE and Unimail from there respective POP3 servers at home ...
