hey i was wondering any new first year student's having trouble signing into their email account?
I've used the same ID zXXXXXXX and password as for unipass.

or is it just one of those things where it takes a while to work?

thanks

You haven't enrolled yet(accepting offer isn't enrollment) therefore you have not been issued with an email.

All official correspondence between you and the uni come through unimail, so yes its pretty important.

And to answer it before someone asks-

You get different aliases you can enable instead of zXXXXXXX@student..

From memory they are first.last@student, firstinitial.last@ and first.lastinitial@ , assuming they haven't been taken by someone with the same name.

I'm using my temporary unipass. It took 24 hours for email to work properly.
