Is it a bad sign that uni is about to start and i dont want to go or is that quite normal for most people about to start uni for the first time?

Its kinda like im over it before it even begins ....

Shame on me lol

Its normal. Your starting a new phase in your life and your probably nervous. Also, considering you've had months off, you really don't feel like going back to study.

But, its not that bad once you get used to it.

I can't wait to start, especially since I wont be a DOFS (diploma of foundation studies) student this yr!!

Problem is - I have start making an attempt to wake up early and going to bed early before uni starts. Not a major problem really, there is a good chance I'll only need to be at uni on Tues & Wednesday with 10am & 11am starts. :D

Yeah definitely quite abnormal if it's your first time starting uni since many ppl would be counting the minutes till uni starts, so if your not looking forward to it already then theres still another 3-5 yrs of pain for u ;)

yeah it just means hard work, and a good social life*.

mostly the pain is in having to move in/out a lot...

move in>stress>move out>bludge>move in>stress>move out>bludge>move in...

(well it's not always that predictable!)

think of uni as a privelige... on a worldwide scale, very few people get to progress to tertiary education...

I know uni is hard work (and LOTS of it lol) but right now, im feeling restless, bored and unproductive. I hate that feeling. Even though the HSC was tough with lots of work (yeah yeah nothing compared to uni etc) ,I enjoyed being kept busy with tasks to complete. I sound like a psycho lol

But in short, im excited about o-week and starting uni :)

If you withdraw from the course before the HECS census date (31 March), you won't suffer any academic penalty.
