Is there no need to choose our units of study since the course itself needs 192 credit points and there's only 192 points worth of units?

Yeah, you don't really have any choice it seems in the first 3 years. In year 4, you might (I'm not sure) be able to choose a different major.

Yep, that's right - no need to choose any units. Pharmacy is a set course for all years, with the exception of fourth year Honours.

Here's a rundown for prosperity:

B.Pharm (standard)
  • All 4 years are the standard curriculum

B.Pharm (Hons)
  • First 3 years are the standard curriculum
  • Year 4, semester 1 is the standard curriculum (with the exception of "Pharmacy management", which is substituted with "Research methods")
  • Year 4, semester 2 involves working on your honours project full time

B.Pharm (Industrial major) and B.Pharm (International Major)
  • First 3 years are the standard curriculum
  • Year 4, semester 2 involves undertaking your industrial/international placement program
