Have any uni goers on here been involved with a study abroad program? i.e. exchange student during university?

I'm considering doing it in 2010.

around how much has it cost you? the UNSW site said you'd need like 1800 a month thats like 20,000 to cover all expenses!

I went to Japan on exchange for a year a long, long time ago.

It didn't cost me a cent: I had a scholarship that basically covered everything - airfares, tuition, living expenses.

I'd recommend it if you get the opportunity.

go to macquarie im getting 10,000 grant that i dont have to pay bck and everyone can get one if they go to maquarie and goin on xchange - best travel grant scheme of any uni in AUS!!!!

it isnt 10 000

its 4000 (to Europe, Japan, Africa, Middle East, South America, Korea)
3000 (USA, Canada, Mexico, UK )
2000 (Asia, Pacific, India)

Thats for the semester exchange and there is a bonus 500 dollars if your degree has compolsury OS study
