Ok,

Situation: I'm typing up several word documents at a time.

Problem: XP has a function which keeps every single document in a single button in the taskbar. How does one disable this?

More info: This is very annoying cus.. when i wanna switch to the other doc, i have to minimize the current document and then click on the one behind it.

I mean, when they stack msn windows, u can click and a popup list comes up and that allows you to choose which convo you wanna see. but that function is gone on the stacked word documents.

Anyone know how to disable this function?

Thanks

Instead of unstacking them, you can use the Alt-Tab function to quickly switch from doc to doc. Press and hold Alt, then press Tab. A little box will come up with all the windows you currently have opening. Keep pressing tab (whilst holding down Alt) to cycle through the windows to get to the one you want. :)

Is it word xp /2003 or whatever (2000? *shrug*)? Well if so then you have to go to Tools > Options > View > Tick Windows in Taskbar (Only from a 2003 perspective)
