Sorry, but could anyone tell me if the $250 deposit is refundable if i get an offer for another uni in the late round? the fees statement thingy that you have to agree to wont work properky and keeps freezing, and i cant find it anywhere else.

Does this $250 go towards anything like student activity fees or is it just $250 for no reason at all??? the unsw site keeps freezing so i cant find any of this info... sorry!

i'm thinking that the 250 also covers enrolment since its online as well..

I don't remember for sure if the $250 went towards anything.

But when I enrolled I remember I thought I had to pay union fees of $236, and one day when I checked my financial statement online it said I had already paid it, and that I even had $14 credit (236+14=250) so maybe I thought that $250 went into my union fees.

Then again, I could just be brainfarting and paid them twice and didn't realised ^_^"

Just to clarify - the $250 IS REFUNDABLE if u choose another uni in the late round - read the my.unsw site carefully

If u pay the $250, and subsequently enrol - that money is creditied towards ur union fees for 1st semester, which is about $240. The remaining $10 will be creditied towards semester 2's fees

yeah i asked the guy at the helpline and he said that it IS refundable if you decide to change your mind..asqy where did you get your information from..?
