UNSW Eco/adv science OR eco/adv maths (1 Viewer)

Hi all, does anyone do either of the above courses or related? If so, how do you find the course?

And for eco/adv science specifically, are eco and adv science that much intertwined, as I'm worried they are quite contrasting to the point where I should just drop the one I like less later on. Also I think eco and adv maths courses are quite intertwined, correct me if I'm wrong (but it is quite statistics focused I think, which I don't like).

what are you intending to major in adv science?

I’ve only done first year econ stuff at unsw but yeah maths stuff is mainly calculus and stats … it def helps with microeconomics and econometrics

Yh but wouldn't studying adv maths complement the maths content in eco, so you understand it better I guess

yes but having that knowledge learnt from the maths classes goes a way … also good from an employer perspective
