i liked the Usyd one better

it is because we put them down on our UAC i think..

i just have to wait for Macq and UTS now :p

I dont remember putting USYD or UNSW on my UAC entry list.. But i might've shoved some of their courses on the end... hmm..
Ah well, No big deal, as long as i dont get an email tomorrow from 'Spammers Anonymous' saying 'Good luck with your HSC, we hope to see you joining us in romainia next year!'

the USYD one way better, at least they werent blatantly trying to sell themselves like UNSW did in their email.

i just got one too, i think if you entered an ipod competition, because that the only way they would of got my email. unless through uac, but some of you didnt apply for it.

what was the usyd one like?

Well i just got snail-mail from UAC confirming my choices..
UNSW is 8th and USYD is 9th...

..Also looks like i forgot there was another form to submit to UTS if i wanted to do B. IT there... meh

I suspect they make a list from scholarship apps, UAC, plus other things you've done with them throughout the year.

I got one too, though I've never had anything to do with them. Ever. Bastards said they were my No.1 preference! I don't even think they're on my preference list at all.

I think they meant that they should be the number 1 choice- "Your first choice university". It sounds as if they mean they are on the list as number 1 so I'm guessing they did that on purpose to attract attention >_>

thats way better than the unsw one. still is nice they sent one anyway.

bloody university propaganda...oh mother, i wanna go to UNSW cause the Vice-Chancellor High Lordy Lord Master sounds nice!! he wrote me a letter and everything!! oh mother, isn't he kind.

Yeah, a Uni shouldn't try to sell itself. Rather, they should all cancel open days, scholarships, and sponsorships. That way, the world would be much more of a fair place where every student can make their decision unhindered by salesmanship. :rolleyes:

i didnt get any and i had unsw as a preference but mcquarie as my first oh well
well i did recieve a good luck card from my councellor and from the cherrybrook pharmacy, homers and commenwealth bank

they made my day
