Chroma/Aqua are the same person. Chromatic I think is the normal state, and I think Aquablack is where Chromatic expresses his secret desire to be a woman and be the wife of Aquawhite - moderator. /conjecture

But yes, I did do my research and it just so happens that the Good Uni Guide I used as my final criteria-provider because it was the thing that made me choose UNSW over Sydney. So... yeah.

i wouldnt trust GUG that much, to be honest. common sense tells me in most situations its a throwup between usyd and unsw, after that go to both and weigh their advantages.

That is true. And then I was looking for any excuse and I saw the GUG.

Seriously, I was considering picking Sydney because they had sent me more letters...

aqua and chromatic are trolls

its hard to say, thats like comparing apples and oranges. not to mention they havent said anything about the math specialisation. im sure an actuary earns more than a scholarship it guy, but even then salary isnt the sole factor in, er, awesomeness.
The actuary market in Australia is shit - there are fuck all jobs and they will go to the people who can pass the extremely hard exams which take 10 years. In that 10 years the IT guy could be a partner and on 200-500k+

Also Shadowdude USyd > UNSW for math - its well known in the indstry and even looking at the units I noticed that. General Education is fail.

Well, I chose UNSW eventually. Doesn't really matter. Besides, I'm also doing a Commerce degree. So perhaps in maths Sydney may be better, but overall - UNSW > Sydney.

And I won't do General Education because I do a double degree =)

Well, I'd hate to say this again but: "Please see Good Uni Guide. That is all." =P

In Maths: UNSW > Sydney.
In Business/Commerce: UNSW > Sydney.

Your point, studentleader?

Look at what units they offer and look at the research then go back to your pisspoor guide.

ASB is for post grads if I'm not wrong - all the international rankings it'd get would be from its MBA programs. And who really gives a shit where you get your commerce degree anyway?

Look at how many UWS kids want to be at big accounting firms.

Obviously there are going to be more proactive accounting students at UWS than UNSW because it isn't full of money grubbing nerds.

Well as long as the degrees are accredited right? Besides, that's what post-grad study is for!

ASB is for everyone. And international rankings.... using those is silly.

Err... no. I'm saying that if a certain university's units aren't that good - I can fix that up with post-grad or non-award study.

post grad is so useless unless you are really in love with something. Do undergrad get a job and earn $$$.
