don't want to start a political/religious debate here, cuz its inappropriate for this particular forum. i am not pro or anti falun gong, but as cliched as this sounds, but there are 2 sides to the coin...

The largest contributing factor to its banning was most probably because the officials (who help run the country) were becomming deeply immersed in the ''religion'' as well. In short, the Chinese government felt threatened.

Because UNSW prides itself on being an international university. It's well known that UNSW is one of Asia-Pacific's best uni's, so naturally, people from all over Asia go to UNSW if they come to Australia. Recently, its been announced that UNSW Singapore will open over there, so Asians can goto UNSW in their own backyard!
