Does anyone know what happened to the UNSW medicine atar/umat estimate requirements table? I remember seeing it on the net a few years ago, but when I searched it up now its no longer available. If anyone does remember the details of it, can someone provide an atar estimate needed for an interview for each umat percentile brackets ?

Thanks.

In know that the ATAR required for med at UNSW is 99.60 and I'm guessing that the umat could be ~75 because of the compensating ATAR, I might be wrong though...

*sigh*

UNSW is a 1/3 split across ATAR/UMAT/Interviews. You generally need 99+ ATAR and ~88+ UMAT to secure an interview, but you can get an interview with any ATAR>96 and an outstanding UMAT (like 98+, tho i think for 96 atar its like 99 UMAT)

That table was outdated anyway. To be competitive you need 98+ ATAR and 90+ UMAT (roughly). If one is higher then you can afford to lower the other one a little. Interview is usually the determining factor for UNSW.

outdated table. They no longer release it as of 2013
The last one they released was in 2012

Also, just some stats:
Min atar is 96.00 but requires 100 UMAT
Mean atar was 99.609 in 2013. That would require high 80's UMAT to be competitive
