I was just wondering for people who get 100 UAI, does UNSW give them straight out 6k or is it 6k p.a. ? Their scholarship site is atrocious....

Is it meant to be a secret or something? I don't see it advertised anywhere on their site and i heard people talking about a 6k figure.

In 2003 they gave $6000 once off to anyone with 100. Somebody mentioned that they've changed that now.

Isn't it annoying how much 0.05 can mean? Should've worked harder for math, I suppose.

The UNSW lady in charge of scholarships told me most of the money is reserved for rural entry students, ATO students and sports scholarships. Apparently they don't believe in bribing "smart" students to come, they'd rather they apply due to UNSW's reputation.

except that bribing smart students does work, especially those who want to do courses that are also available at usyd
