my friends and I are starting up the unsw shang society! it would be a great opportunity for u to do some networking, socialising and partying!

we will be holding events at every opportunity we can... and there will be boyz, gals, alcohol and ... potentials

is this a quick way to make money and spice up your resume?

Because that's all that happens usually with clubs that have < 20 members at UNSW. Casoc will boot you out after one year and don't provide funding

Why don't you put your efforts into improving the Chinese Society which brings together students, instead of making a little Shang society?

Rukawasan, HKSS and KSA support HK and Korean students (even those born here). You don't see a Kowloon Bay or Seoul Students Association do you?

make money? - arent all the clubs non-profit??...mate we got liek the union auditing our accounting to make sure we dunn use any of that money on ourselves~

plus...we have more den 20members already...and ofcourse we'll b supportin the chinese club just as HKSS and KSA...have done so.. and lastly, i assure u..we are not just making a "lil shang society"

why are we doing this? i dunno... i support the Chinese Society... its cool...
we "are" bringing ppl together... we've noticed a lot of ppl from shanghai round these days... but theres never an opportunity to bring them all together via the Chinese Society...

we'll continue to support the Chinese Society, i noe i will... i'll keep going to the events and meets...
SSS is just another opportunity to bring together another group of students...
