Any ideas? there seems to be a few companies up now...not just unwired...and unwired doesnt have coverage in my area
and all my cables are underground so i cant get cable/dsl

iburst? isnt it like by iprimus?
i checked it
it only had access near ryde and the sydney city + parramatta
no one has one near prestons :(

i gave up unwired cos it didn't work (reception was extremely low)
i'm in the lower north shore btw.

i have gone for the trusty cable...

best to go with UnWired. They're technology is slightly different from iBurst, but i'm sure Unwired has more market share.

Unwired will rollout Wimax as soon as it hits australia, which will be a HUGE plus for any unwired user.

I have an unwired account for my church, and have no issues what so ever.

for the person who said they can't get reception: Unwired have been rolling out more Base Stations with mobile towers across Sydney. Their rollout should be complete by November this year... or so their chief technical officer said.

no guesses on where i live

i live in the lower north shore... one of the guys on the phone from unwired said the nearest tower from my house is artamon... that about 10km from my house.

wow, 10km from your house in Nth Shore... they may have changed that.
You might possibly in one of those really bad spots through that can't see t he signal from any propogation effects.

what are some good plans with unwires?

i was looking at some plans offered. they seem to be more expensive then adsl
