I just need some help to how to approach this question:

'A good crime fiction writer is never restricted by the demands of the conventions of the genre' evaluate the success of writers of crime fiction in the light of this statement.
BAse on two of the prescribed text and other related texts of your choosing

our half yrly was pretty similar to that ... we had to write about the big sleep + the real inspector hound + our own thingies.

i wrote about how conventions limit, and by subverting them they defy audience expectation making it more interesting, its able to stretch a genre.....it sets it apart from the rest. there just some starters.....were u after answers for anything in particular?

talk about how the texts DON'T fit the defintion of the crime fiction genre as well as how they do. its hard to help you cuz my class hasnt done the real inspector hound yet

yeah that's good. from what i understood,you have to make sure you show you know the conventions, but that you also know how they can be used for other focuses and hence to show other values and attitudes

grrrr i hate this subject!! its toooo hard! i guna fail sooo bad!

32day was the 1st day bak rite and we get there n the girls in my class r like "did u do that SBTS stuff thats due 2moz??" Im all NO way!! and they were too, so NOONE has done it YET AGAIN and our teacher is gunna be "Dissapointed" and make us all feel heaps shit! booo hooo! and my comp. keeps disconnecting and thats fully shittin me rite off!
