Ignore these guys, they've been totally useless (xcept redrum). I'll start by saying Im shanghainese, im studying combined applied finance. I'll take care of her!!! Did i mention im a very responsible person? jk jk

That's the official forum for mq uni. But it's pretty dead. You'll have to wait a few days before anyone replies on that forum. Therefore, it's probably more wise to use boredofstudies forum instead.
So im guessing she isn't at uni yet? Coz she juz arrived in aus a week ago? And obviously people dont start uni a week before the final exams...
But rest assured that she'll find fellow shanghainese international friends instantly. There is nothing of mq uni u need to be afraid of. However, what is of greater concern to you is the lack of excitement in living in australia. So to keep her entertained, you might wanna send her monthly packages of pirated dvds and clothes u buy on xiang yang road...

You are shanghainese? how lucky i am! Very pleased to know you ! It seems that you've been to Aus since 2002, right? How often do you go back to shanghai and go to Xiangyang Road for bargain? As a matter of fact i go there only for some interesting ornament, hehe.
She arrived Aus a week ago and she told me that she's gonna start her preparing courses called " courses before..." sorry i forget how to express it officially. Anyway her formal courses will be started right after her preparing courses.
from your discription the life in Aus appears to be a little bit boring or dull, doesn't it? Is it what you feel since you stepped on the land of Aus?

i tried the way you mentionged above , but it still didn't work, showing " the invalid recipient"
You can try it by yourself, just send a pm to yourself and you'll see the problem
