I just rung the advice line - you may use pencil for drawing graphs et diagrams is the word. Well he actually said "I dont see why you couldnt, I mean they are s'posed to mark what you put down and if its in pencil then so be it." - thats for graphs and diagrams btw, dont do the whole thing in pencil

'Though, I too work better in pencil. The crisp sound of pencil during a heated algebra equation is like...
