Hey guys I'm looking for another related text for Mod C atm. Well I already have one in mind but then I would be doing two films. Now I know that its not FORBIDDEN, but what are your thoughts on this everyone?

For Mod C I am studying Snow Falling on Cedars and it seem like a reject text in the forums, so there aren't that many great suggestions around. The first text I used is Schindler's List. Maybe I could make up some bullshit and say its a biographic film? I know it isn't though...

Dunno if this helps but I'm ranked 25/158 at a school ranked 13th and I'm pretty much aiming around a low band 6.

It's not recommended but no one is stopping you from doing so. Just shows you have little variety of related texts.

Well I dunno any poems with conflicting perspectives and I feel short stories won't have enough. Also I don't know where to start looking, conflicting perspectives isn't as broad as like belonging

A modest proposal. <-- There a script
or the Frontline scripts (is that the name :\)

Or even if you can find a news paper article with conflicting perspectives. e.g. Article on boat people, having refugee's and politicians perspectives (weak example). It isn't very hard. I have great related material but since my school is ranked in the 600's I have to do everything I can to stay on top sorry xD

Two films generally detracts from the sophistication of your writing (I forgot to add). It is easy to watch a film and pick a few techniques. It is much harder to analyse stories and present strong evidence from them. Also, conflicting perspectives are often shaped through the use of language therefore another plus for scripts.
