I was just wondering for flexible entry at USYD do they give you bonus points if you are eligible ? I thought they only consider you if you are 5 points or less under the course atar cut off

They will only consider you for flexible entry if you fall 5 points below this years cut-off if you have done well in relevant subjects. Even if you have done well in relevant subjects and and fall >5 points they will not consider flexible entry. Also, they are not bonus points but a criteria they probably use to determine your aptitude for your chosen degree.
